Choosing the right hair colour for me

Hey guys!
This is my first time getting a #rightcolourmatters hair colour consultation and dye job.
I usually opt for brown which is the safest bet, and just winging the undertones of the brown, sometimes I end up with something too golden/yellow toned and it makes me look like an ahlian.
So this time, at Chez Vous Hair Salon, the stylists used different colour cards as light reflectors to shine different tones onto my face.
For both blue and green, they make me look duller and fiercer and do not match my skin tone.
For yellow, it was still ok, it complemented my skin tone and gave it an overall brightness. But nothing like how pink complemented me.
My skin colour altered positively to pink by giving an overall glow and highlighted my features the best without making me look fierce and unapproachable.
When it comes to my hair, I'm very chill, over the years when stylists and hairdressers ask me before curling or chopping it off, I usually respond with sure whatever. So getting a professional opinion and test to match my hair colour to my face was definitely not on my radar, but after this experience, I'm surprised that a suitable hair colour can make a person look so much better and approachable. If you do not experiment much with hair colour like me, or if you're one who hops on trends and is probably spotting an ashy grey colour now, I think its still good to find out what undertones suit you most!
Now I have an overall brown, with pink undertones, and a few subtle pink highlights throughout. And I feel that I actually look healthier!
